What does working with a certified ISV mean in practice?

EPEX SPOT accredits Independent Software Vendors that build and operate solutions on the M7 API: the vendor signs EPEX’s ISV agreement, integrates against the documented API, and passes conformance tests on its production interface. Building on our certified stack means you inherit that validated integration layer instead of running the certification programme end-to-end yourself.

Do we still need our own EPEX trading membership?

Yes — the trading membership and the commercial relationship with the exchange remain yours. We provide the certified software layer: feed handling, order routing, and the operational tooling around it.

What exactly does the assessment and roadmap cover?

Four deliverables: a current-state review of your data flows and infrastructure against M7 requirements, a target architecture sized to your trading, a sequenced connectivity roadmap with risks and dependencies, and a go-live readiness checklist — before you commit to a large integration programme.
